Our 200 Hour Vinyasa Teacher Training incorporates knowledge from both traditional and contemporary texts and teachers to deliver a curriculum that prepares our graduates with the knowledge to become competent, creative & compassionate teachers. Our teaching staff have a combined total of over 62 years of personal practice, 15 teacher training programs, and 39 years of teaching - providing you with the knowledge handed down from some of the key teachers of our time and proven, effective programs.

Students are taught the principles of sequencing, and the benefits and contraindications of all the primary yoga postures (asanas). The curriculum focuses on skillful class planning, proper sequencing, and the confidence to design appropriate and balanced classes.

The Anatomy & Physiology segment is unique in that we provide experiential instruction on identification and management of common limitations, and how our bodies and asanas can work together to strengthen, open, or heal.

More than just the physical asana practice, our students study the history and philosophy of yoga, and how this ancient science is applied, both philosophically and physically, to develop a calm and tranquil mind and a healthier body.

Our program exceeds YA minimum requirements and includes:

Asana alignment, adjustments & teaching

Structuring and sequencing classes

Yoga History & Philosophy

Study of the Yoga Sutra & Bhagavad Gita

Pranayama practice and teaching

Relaxation techniques and teaching

Theory and practice of meditation
