Vinyasa

In Vinyasa style yoga, poses flow from one to another in synchronization with the breath. The body is warmed, strengthened, and energized with a flow of varied standing postures, often incorporated in the sun salutation sequence. We then begin to slow the pace and incorporate core strength postures, then balance the class with the deep stretch and release found in backbending and seated postures. These classes vary from day to day, and flow with our teachers' creativity and knowledge of sequencing. Linked to uplifting and/or meditative music, these classes leave both your body & mind relaxed and rejuvenated!

Mom & Baby Yoga

For Moms & Babies 6 weeks & up. Disha Mattive teaches safe and beneficial yoga postures for women new to, or returning to yoga after giving birth. This is a gentle yoga class with a focus on the mother, and will include gentle sun salutations, core and back strengtheners, restorative poses, as well as breathing and relaxation techniques. Your baby will also enjoy watching you practice yoga while on their backs, tummies, or held in loving arms. At the end of class, enjoy a peaceful relaxation with your child. No yoga experience is required. Read this great article in the Community News and email Disha to enroll for the next 4-week series. Cost is $60 for the 4-week series, or $16 drop-in once the session has met the minimum number of students.
