BEGINNER'S LEVEL VINYASA

We feel that offering beginners a specialized class enhances their introduction to yoga, and helps us to maintain the pace in the All Levels Vinyasa classes. Therefore, the beginner level classes are specifically designed for new yoga students, who may join at any time. With a focus on teaching the "flow" of Vinyasa style yoga, classes are sequenced around specific asana groups. Over the course of 4-6 classes, we introduce Sun Salutations, key standing postures, hip and shoulder opening postures, backbends, twists, and balancing. Moving at a moderate pace allows us to provide detailed instruction, and offer students the opportunity to explore modifications, developing a safe and confident practice; one which allows them to discover the meditative quality of Vinyasa yoga.
