Class Descriptions
Beginner's Level Vinyasa
This class is perfect for beginner level students, or for those returning to their practice. Through varied Vinyasa-style sequences,
students are taught safe and appropriate alignment in key standing, seated, twisted, and back-bending postures. We also introduce pranayama, yoga philosophy, and meditation.
New students may join at any time; no pre-registration is required.
Vinyasa
In Vinyasa style yoga, poses flow from one to another in synchronization with the breath. The body is warmed, strengthened,
and energized with a flow of varied standing postures, often incorporated in the sun salutation sequence. We then begin to slow the pace and incorporate core
strength postures, then balance the class with the deep stretch and release found in backbending and seated postures. These classes vary from day to day,
and flow with our teachers' creativity and knowledge of sequencing. Linked to uplifting and/or meditative music, these classes leave both your body & mind relaxed and rejuvenated!
